How it works

Customize Your Survey

Administer the Survey
- Belk Center staff will administer the survey to employees via e-mail or provide an open link that can be shared by your institution. Several reminders will be sent to employees at designated intervals.
Receive Survey Reports
- Within 10 weeks of survey completion, Belk Center staff will generate your reports. Reports include an executive summary, the PACE 46 Report which breaks out the four climate factors by question response rates, an optional question set report (if applicable), demographic report, and qualitative reports. Report interpretation instructions and an anonymized data file with a codebook are also included.

Full Service PACE Survey: The PACE Team creates and administers the PACE Survey online to your institution. The PACE Survey includes: The PACE 46, 8 standard demographic items, and 4 qualitative questions. The PACE Team will then process and analyze data and write the climate reports including comparisons to three comparison groups. The PACE Team provide a qualitative report with 100% of qualitative comments; however, comments that compromise a respondent’s anonymity or will maliciously affect other individuals may be removed or edited. The PACE Team does not interpret findings, but instead offer important data for institutions to make critical decisions. Within 90 days of final report receipt, the institution may request a Report Interpretation Consultation presentation for up to 8 institutional employees can attend the consultation. Your final report will include: an Executive Summary, a Demographics Report, a Personnel Classification report; a PACE Report; a Custom Report (if applicable); a Question Set Report (if applicable); a Qualitative Report; a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Qualitative Report; and Report Interpretation Instructions.	$6,000

Tabulated Data File: Receive a data file and codebook	$500
Tabulated Qualitative Comments Data File: PACE staff provide an Excel file containing an alphabetical listing of all favorable and unfavorable comments. Comments are redacted for respondent confidentiality.	$500
Tabulated Qualitative Comments Data File with One Demographic Item: PACE staff provide an Excel file containing an alphabetical listing of all favorable and unfavorable comments with one demographic item included. In order for a demographic category to be included, at least 50 respondents must fall under that demographic category. Comments are redacted for respondent confidentiality.	$1,000
Additional Open-Ended Questions: Institutional partner develops additional open-ended questions in consultation with PACE team. PACE staff include additional open-ended questions in survey administration. Comments are provided in a Custom Qualitative report where they are redacted for respondent confidentiality and alphabetized, but no further analysis is conducted.	$750 per question
Supplemental Report: PACE Team provides an additional report centered on a different organizing variable other than personnel classification, such as location or race/ethnicity	$2,000

Available Discounts

Your report author will clarify for you what, if any, discounts your institution is eligible to receive.

15% Group Discount*: A group or system of institutions with only one point of contact, utilizing the same custom survey questions and distribution method (and email texts, if applicable) will qualify for a 15% discount off of the total fees associated with the PACE report.
*may be combined with other discounts

15% North Carolina Discount: Institutions of higher education in North Carolina qualify for a 15% discount off of the total fees associated with the PACE report.

15% Early Bird Discount (Academic Year): Launch your survey between mid-August and September 15th to receive a 15% discount off of the total fees associated with the PACE report. To be eligible, the survey must also close no later than three weeks after the survey launch date.

5% Loyalty Discount: Applied to institutions or consortiums that sign a multi-year service agreement.
